Terms of Service

The rules for using MyExpatGo — your account, My Move, My Move Pro, the Inventory & Volume Planner, destination intelligence, quote requests and connections to independent relocation providers.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and MYEXPATGO OÜ (“MyExpatGo”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your use of www.myexpatgo.com and everything we provide through it, including:

  • the website, destination guides and free planning tools;
  • user accounts;
  • My Move, our relocation planning area;
  • My Move Pro, our paid digital planning workspace;
  • the Inventory & Volume Planner;
  • destination intelligence and personalized planning guidance;
  • quote requests and mover matching;
  • AI-assisted tools such as the AI Virtual Home Estimate;
  • connections to independent third-party relocation providers;
  • paid digital products and any other services we offer.

Plain-English summary: MyExpatGo is an international relocation planning platform that helps you plan, price, compare and execute an international move. We are not a moving company. We do not carry out household moving, shipping, storage, accommodation or other third-party services, and any contract for those services is between you and the provider you choose.

These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.

2. Who we are and what we do

MyExpatGo is operated by MYEXPATGO OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (registration number 17593375). We:

  • publish information, guides and destination intelligence to help people plan international moves;
  • provide planning tools such as cost estimates, timelines, task and document planning, budgets and the Inventory & Volume Planner;
  • connect users, at their request, with independent third-party providers such as moving companies, temporary accommodation providers and other relocation specialists;
  • offer paid digital products, and may offer advisory or support services where described on the website.

We are not a moving company. We do not own or operate trucks, vessels, warehouses or storage facilities, and we are not a party to any contract between you and a third-party provider unless we say so explicitly.

3. Eligibility and accounts

Many parts of the website — guides, destination pages and free planning tools — can be used without an account. My Move, My Move Pro and other saved planning features require you to create an account.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, request quotes or buy a paid product.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current information when you register and when you use our tools, and to keep it up to date.
  • Accounts are personal to you. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that takes place under your account.
  • Tell us promptly at privacy@myexpatgo.com if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
  • We may suspend or close an account in the circumstances described in section 21.

4. The MyExpatGo platform

MyExpatGo is organized around four stages of an international move:

  • Plan — destination research, requirements, timelines and tasks.
  • Price — independent cost benchmarks, budgets and volume estimates.
  • Compare — comparing destinations, options and provider offers.
  • Execute — organizing documents, services, providers and progress.

We are a planning and decision-support platform. That means:

  • Information, rules, prices and availability change, sometimes at short notice.
  • Our estimates and benchmarks are independent planning figures. They are not quotes, offers or guaranteed prices.
  • Nothing we publish or generate is legal, immigration, tax, customs, insurance or financial advice, and using MyExpatGo does not create a professional-client relationship.
  • You remain responsible for verifying requirements that matter to your move with the relevant authorities or a qualified professional.
  • Third-party providers are independent businesses.

5. My Move

My Move is the area of your account where you can organize your relocation. Depending on the features available to you, it may let you record and track your route and destination, move timing, tasks, document checklists, budget, household and family details, inventory, requested services, provider interactions and overall progress.

The information in My Move is your own planning information. Plans, checklists, estimates and other outputs generated from it are planning aids — they are not official records, certified documents, or legal, tax, customs or immigration advice, and they do not replace requirements set by authorities or providers.

6. My Move Pro

My Move Pro is a paid digital relocation planning workspace. Depending on the features described on the product page at the time of your purchase, it may include:

  • personalized destination guidance and a destination brief;
  • a personalized relocation timeline and smart next actions;
  • task planning and document planning;
  • budget and expense planning;
  • housing guidance;
  • household, family, pet and vehicle planning where relevant to your move;
  • inventory and volume planning, and shipping planning;
  • connections to movers and other providers;
  • relocation progress tracking and exports of your plan.

Features are described using “may include” deliberately: the features available to you are those described on the applicable product page at the time of purchase. We may add, improve or adjust features over time as described in section 20. Where a feature is labelled as planned, in development or coming soon, it is not yet available.

7. My Move Pro access period

My Move Pro is planned to be sold as a one-time purchase of EUR €99 giving six months of access. It is not a subscription and it does not renew automatically. It is not lifetime access.

  • What you buy is an entitlement to use the digital product for the applicable access period shown at checkout.
  • Standard purchases (once the product is available): the access period starts when access is granted to your account, which normally happens immediately after your payment is confirmed.
  • Pre-launch purchases: the six-month access period does not start at payment. It starts when My Move Pro is made available to you, as communicated to you at that time.
  • When the access period ends, paid features stop being available. Your account and the information you entered are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

We have not committed to a launch date for My Move Pro and nothing on this page should be read as one.

8. My Move Pro Early Bird / pre-launch offer

We may offer an Early Bird pre-launch purchase of My Move Pro. Where that offer is made available, the planned terms are:

Early Bird — planned terms

EUR €69 instead of the planned €99 standard price (30% off).

One-time payment. Six months of My Move Pro access. No automatic renewal.

Access begins when My Move Pro is launched and made available to you.

  • What you receive: a pre-purchased entitlement to six months of My Move Pro access, beginning when the product is made available to you.
  • Communications: we will contact you at the email address used for the purchase when access is ready, and we may send occasional updates about progress.
  • If launch is delayed: your entitlement remains valid and your six-month period still only starts when access is made available. We will keep you informed.
  • Offer terms: the promotional terms, price, currency, taxes and any offer conditions displayed at checkout control the transaction. We do not apply an expiry date to an offer unless one is shown at checkout.
  • Consumer rights: your mandatory statutory rights, including any applicable right of withdrawal or cancellation, are not affected — see section 15.

9. Inventory & Volume Planner

The Inventory & Volume Planner is a planning tool. Depending on the features available to you it may help you organize a household inventory and item quantities, produce volume estimates, plan packing and shipping, record replacement or second-hand values, prepare information used in customs or insurance planning, and generate documents or exports where offered.

Please note:

  • Volume figures are estimates. Actual packed volume frequently differs.
  • A mover’s survey or a professional measurement takes precedence over our estimate.
  • Values you enter are your own figures. They are not official customs valuations and are not automatically accepted as insurance valuations.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you enter, and for any declaration you make to a mover, insurer or authority.

10. Destination intelligence and personalized guidance

Our destination intelligence may cover immigration and visa information, documents, customs and import rules, housing, money and banking, household, family and school topics, pets, vehicles, arrival steps, timelines and other relocation subjects. Where you provide details about your move, we may present this information as personalized guidance — showing what appears relevant to your route, timing and circumstances.

We work to keep this information accurate and sourced, and destination pages indicate the basis and review status of the content. Even so:

  • It is provided for planning and information purposes only.
  • Rules change, and source material can become outdated between reviews.
  • You must verify requirements that are critical to your move with the relevant official authority or a qualified professional.
  • Personalized recommendations do not constitute legal, immigration, tax, customs, insurance or financial advice.

11. AI-assisted features

Some features are AI-assisted or automated — for example the AI Virtual Home Estimate, volume and cost estimation, and personalized planning suggestions. These tools produce approximate results from the information you provide.

  • Outputs are planning aids and may contain errors, gaps or outdated assumptions.
  • An estimate is not a survey, a valuation or a binding quote. A provider may require a formal survey before confirming a price.
  • AI-assisted output is not legal, immigration, tax, customs, insurance or financial advice. Verify anything important before you rely on it.
  • We may change, improve or withdraw AI-assisted functionality over time. How we handle the information you enter is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Quotes and moving companies

When you submit a quote request, we share the details you provide with independent moving companies or other partners so they can contact you with offers.

  • Movers are independent third parties. Quotes, prices, terms and services come from them, not from us.
  • We do not guarantee a provider’s pricing, availability, conduct or performance.
  • Any moving contract is concluded directly between you and the provider. Please read their terms, insurance cover and liability limits before you commit.
  • “Verified by MyExpatGo” means we have carried out our own documentation and capability check — for example accreditation, insurance, route and service capability, company information and compliance documents. It is a documentation check, not a guarantee, warranty or endorsement of the quality of any particular move. Third-party accreditations are confirmed as genuine and current; they are not re-asserted by us.

13. Temporary housing and other third-party services

You may use MyExpatGo to request or explore services delivered by independent providers, including temporary accommodation, moving and shipping, pet relocation, vehicle services, insurance, financial and money-transfer services, travel and destination services, and professional services.

  • Where you request such a service, we may facilitate the connection or pass your request to a provider. We are not the supplier of that service.
  • The provider’s own terms, prices, cancellation rules and privacy practices apply to their service.
  • Availability of any particular provider or integration may change, and a provider named on the website is only available where the site says it is.

14. Payments and pricing

We may sell digital products in euro (EUR). For My Move Pro the planned pricing is a one-time payment of €99 for six months of access, or €69 where the Early Bird offer is available — in both cases with no automatic renewal.

  • The price, currency, tax treatment and product description shown at checkout at the time of your purchase control the transaction.
  • Applicable taxes may be included in, or added to, the displayed price according to the checkout configuration and your location. The checkout shows which applies.
  • Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider acting as our payment processor. We do not see or store your full payment card details.
  • You will receive the payment or transaction record applicable to your purchase.
  • Prices for future purchases may change. A change never affects a purchase you have already completed.

Pending legal review: online payments are not yet enabled on this website. The payment provider configuration, invoicing and VAT/tax treatment for digital products sold to consumers in different countries must be confirmed before any payment is accepted, and this section updated to describe the live arrangement.

15. Refunds, cancellations and consumer rights

Different rules apply depending on what you have bought:

  • My Move Pro (standard purchase): a digital product supplied for a fixed access period. The refund and cancellation rules that apply are those published at the time of purchase, together with your mandatory statutory rights.
  • My Move Pro (Early Bird / pre-launch): see section 8. Access begins at launch, and your statutory rights are unaffected.
  • Advisory or support services, where offered: the cancellation and rescheduling rules shown when you book apply.
  • Third-party services: cancellations and refunds are handled by the provider under their own terms. We cannot cancel or refund on their behalf.
  • Mandatory consumer rights: if you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights — including, in the EU and other jurisdictions, a right of withdrawal for distance purchases and rights where digital content is not supplied as described. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

To raise a refund or cancellation request, contact us at privacy@myexpatgo.com.

Pending legal review: the operational refund policy — refund window, treatment of the statutory withdrawal right for digital content and how it interacts with immediate access, and the pre-launch delay scenario — has not been finalized. It requires legal and accounting confirmation and must be published before paid products go on sale.

16. Your content and the information you enter

As you use MyExpatGo you may create move plans, notes, tasks, inventories, budgets, document checklists and other planning information (“your content”).

  • You keep ownership of your content. We do not claim it.
  • You grant us only the permissions we need to run the service for you: to host, store, process, display it back to you, generate the outputs you ask for, and — where permitted by our Privacy Policy — analyze it to operate and improve the platform.
  • Where you ask us to send information to a provider, you authorize us to share the relevant details with them.
  • You are responsible for having the right to submit the content you enter, and for its accuracy. Please do not enter sensitive personal data (such as health or religious information) or payment card numbers into free-text fields.

17. Intellectual property

The MyExpatGo brand, website, destination content, software, tools, graphics, databases, documentation and design are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, scrape, resell or commercially exploit any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

Buying My Move Pro does not transfer ownership of any MyExpatGo software or content. It gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the product for your applicable access period. Plans and documents you export for your own move remain yours to use for that purpose.

18. Affiliate and commercial relationships

We may have referral, affiliate or other commercial relationships with some third-party providers, and we may receive a commission or other compensation when you use a link or request an introduction. Where that applies, the relevant link or page is marked, and full details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.

A commercial relationship does not mean a provider is the right choice for your situation. Always compare options and check a provider’s terms before committing.

20. Availability and changes to the platform

MyExpatGo evolves. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn; destinations may be added or removed; integrations with providers may change; content, estimates and guidance are updated as we review them; and the service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

Where you have paid for access, we will not make changes that remove the substance of what you purchased during your access period without offering you an appropriate remedy, and your statutory rights as a consumer continue to apply.

21. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to an account or to parts of the platform where there is a serious breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse of our staff or partners, a security threat, or unlawful use. Where reasonable and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put things right.

  • You may close your account at any time. Deletion of your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • If we terminate paid access, we will deal with the unused part of your entitlement in line with your statutory rights and the refund rules published at the time of your purchase.
  • Before an account closes, you can export your plan and documents from My Move where that export feature is available to you.

22. Disclaimers

MyExpatGo provides planning and information tools. We do not provide legal, tax, immigration, customs, insurance or financial advice, and our tools do not replace professional advice or official requirements.

In particular:

  • AI-assisted estimates, volume estimates and cost estimates are approximate planning figures, not quotes or valuations.
  • Destination guidance reflects our research at the time of review; rules change.
  • Moving quotes, accommodation and other third-party services are supplied by independent providers under their own terms.
  • Except for the commitments we make in these Terms and the rights you have by law, the website and content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and we do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in this section removes protections that apply to you by law, including mandatory consumer protections.

23. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Our own services. We are responsible for providing the services we supply to you with reasonable care and skill, and for the rights you have by law as a consumer. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the platform.
  • Third-party services. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, pricing, delays or performance of independent movers, accommodation providers or other third parties you contract with.
  • Decisions you make. Because our tools are planning aids, we are not liable for decisions you take without verifying critical requirements with the relevant authority or a qualified professional.
  • We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Pending legal review: no monetary liability cap is stated here. Whether a cap is appropriate, at what level, and how it interacts with mandatory consumer protection law in the EU, UK and other markets we serve must be settled by qualified counsel before these Terms are treated as final.

24. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, and disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Estonia, where MYEXPATGO OÜ is established. This applies without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you: if you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the law of your country of residence and any right to bring proceedings there where local law gives you that right.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us first — most concerns can be resolved quickly and informally.

Pending legal review: MyExpatGo serves customers internationally, including in the EU, the UK and the United States. The governing law and jurisdiction clause, and the consumer dispute mechanisms referenced (for example EU online dispute resolution), should be reviewed by counsel alongside the entity that will contract with customers.

25. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the platform develops. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always shows the current version.

  • For routine changes, the updated Terms take effect when published, and continued use of the website means you accept them.
  • For material changes that affect account holders, we will give reasonable notice — normally by email or a notice in your account — before they take effect.
  • Changes do not retroactively remove rights in a product you have already purchased. The terms that applied when you bought continue to govern that purchase.
